Common questions
What is BreviLearn?
BreviLearn is a Malaysian online tuition marketplace. Tutors list live online classes, and parents and students find a class by syllabus and subject, then attend, pay and follow progress on one platform.
Is BreviLearn a tutor-matching agency?
No. BreviLearn does not assign tutors. Parents and students browse the classes tutors have listed, compare them and choose one themselves. Each class shows its syllabus, level, subject, schedule, class size and teaching language.
How are tutors verified?
Every tutor completes eKYC identity verification and submits their IC and academic certificates before their profile is published. The BreviLearn team reviews each application by hand.
How are lessons taught?
Classes are taught live in BreviLearn's own online classroom, with video, a shared whiteboard and chat, so families do not need outside video apps. Homework, notes and progress stay with each class, and parents can follow along from their dashboard.
Which syllabuses and subjects does BreviLearn cover?
Tutors can list classes for any syllabus and level. The main focus is Malaysian and international school syllabuses: KSSR, KSSM and SPM, STPM, Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary, IGCSE, A-Level and UEC, plus enrichment classes. The subjects with classes open now are listed on BreviLearn's online tuition pages.
How much does tuition cost on BreviLearn?
Signing up is free. Each tutor sets a monthly fee for their class, and fees are shown once you sign in. The listed fee is the full price: BreviLearn's commission is already included, with no service charge added at checkout.
How do payments work?
Parents pay through BreviLearn by credit or debit card or DuitNow, never to a tutor's personal bank account, and BreviLearn holds each payment until the sessions are confirmed. Tuition is billed month by month with no contract and no cancellation fee: to stop, you don't renew for the next month. A receipt is sent after every payment, and tutors are paid at the start of the following month.
Can my child try a class first?
Some tutors offer a trial lesson before you enrol. Each class page shows whether it has one.
Is BreviLearn safe for children?
Every tutor is identity-verified before they can list a class, lessons run inside BreviLearn's own classroom rather than on outside video calls, and every payment goes through the platform.
How do tutors join?
Tutors sign up for free, complete eKYC verification and apply to teach. Once approved, they set up their profile and list classes at their own monthly fee, and are paid every month.
Who runs BreviLearn?
BreviLearn is run by Xuan Rui Technology (LA0078605-U), 19 First Floor, Jalan Dr Krishnan, Bandar Seremban, 70000 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
Did BreviLearn change its web address?
